I am very fortunate to teach in a large, suburban, public school district located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. I work in a school with a diverse population which makes teaching fun and exciting! My students are my pride and joy. Each day is a new beginning for them in a safe, friendly, and welcoming environment. My students and I build an exceptional rapport with one another, and they take pride in everything they do. It takes a village to become a comprehensive classroom such as this, but every moment is worth the team effort from everyone! I couldn't do it without them!

My Project
My students love math! My students schedule is jam packed with learning and most of their subjects are the afternoon so when math comes around, they get so excited! We do whole group math and guided math. During whole group math, students are working with me and then they get to work with small groups on areas where they need extra practice and they love this time of day! They work so well together and enjoy the math activities they play!
Learning with hands-on math manipulatives will help my students grow and excel in math!
They become mathematicians right before my eyes!
My students are in need of a couple more math manipulatives to help them along the way. Dominoes will be a great addition to our class because students will be able to add and subtract! The dice are a great resource to use as dice will allow students to play math games that are fun and educational! Also, having organizational carts will help organize my students math centers. My students will learn and understand where their math centers will be stored when they are done using them.
