My Project
These students present a wide range of mathematical understanding, from basic one-to-one correspondence to early money concepts. The provision of readily available, high-quality materials will significantly enhance instructional effectiveness by freeing up valuable teacher and paraprofessional time for direct student support and individualized instruction. Furthermore, given that the student population comes from low socioeconomic backgrounds, these resources will provide equitable access to engaging and effective learning tools that might otherwise be unavailable to them.
These materials will be strategically organized and readily accessible within the classroom, allowing teachers and paraprofessionals to quickly select and implement activities that directly align with individual student IEP goals and learning objectives.
The use of engaging, hands-on manipulatives will promote active learning, increase student motivation, and foster a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts.
