My Project
The NextDraw XY Plotter will allow my students to explore a new sides of mathematics by turning their mathematical creations into beautiful visual art.
Students will be able to design mathematical objects in commonly used mathematical software and then plot their unique artistic creations.
Students will create functions, create graphs, design fractals, and much more.
The unique nature of an XY plotter makes it a mathematical technology in its own right, which means that students will be creating mathematical art using mathematical tools and technology alongside the mathematics they learn in class.
