This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are excited to come to my classroom and eager to learn. Most of my students are from low-income families. There has been a lack of funds for school supplies and math manipulatives. These materials would greatly support the students in my intervention groups. Students will be using the counters and miniature erasers to practice counting and placing them into groups. Students will be using the markers to show their thinking on whiteboards and share out their ideas. I would like to use the stickers to reward my students for coming with a positive attitude.
