This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Do you remember how much fun math was when the teacher pulled out the counters and other manipulatives?

Well, my students need hands-on math materials to have fun and learn.

My students are wonderful kindergarten children who are brand-new to the United States.This is their first experience in school and and many are just learning how to speak English. Math is universal and the children will learn to add and subtract using these materials.

The math manipulatives will give my students hands-on learning. The kids will able to touch, hold, and play with the counters while they learn to add and subtract. The materials will teach the children number concepts as well as learning to share with their classmates.

Children need hands-on materials to learn math concepts, and your donation will help support this great project.

Kindergarten children are eager to learn, and these manipulatives will make learning fun.
