This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our Math Wizards group starts in 1st grade and continues through 6th, their goal is to accurately solve the appropriate math facts in the allotted time. The number of students increases each month.

We are sorely in need of incentives for these students.

They need to be fun or useful. Math pencils, color markers for practicing, and cute pop-its and tiny stuffies will increase the motivation for this group of students. We have created a Math Wizard Closet that cleverly displays their choices which expand each time they pass the monthly test.
