My Students
Hello! I am a kindergarten teacher in our school district. My students come to school with little or no experience of a school setting. I have students who need help with holding a pencil, recognizing their name, numbers and even letters in the alphabet. While many students come to school already knowing these skills, most of my kids do not. I love the potential that I have to make a difference in my kids' lives by providing a rich education. Through your donations, my students will get the materials they need to stay engaged and learn while having fun.
My Project
Organizing my math units with pre made games that are color coded using the paper in my project request will make it easy to prepare and clean up math games each day. My students have been waiting for me to gather materials every day since I don't have all of my math components organized. With the Sterilite bins, I can organize each unit and put things away quickly so they are ready to access the next time I need them. It will increase my effectiveness in my teaching and maximize the time that students get to play the games in class, therefore increasing their math practice and learning.
