Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love using manipulatives during math. Manipulatives help them solve problems in a tactile and visual way, making it easier for them to learn new concepts.
Making individual math tool kits with the materials, Translucent Geometric Shapes, Ten-Frames, and Connecting Cubes Pack, would make it easy for our students to learn!
We would love to be able to put together tool kits with everything they need to succeed. With your help, we can make that a possibility.
Mesh zipper pouches would make our tool kits reusable from year to year. Each bag would have a ten-frame with two color counters and 20 connecting cubes to help with counting, adding, subtracting, patterning, and more. Each bag would also have a set of 2-dimensional shapes to help with geometry. Help us make math more fun!
