My Project
My multiple grade levels special education students need individual math toolboxes equipped with math manipulatives for concrete learning.
Each requested toolbox can fit inside my students' desks—so manipulatives are always within reach while encouraging my students to learn to solve math problems with different strategies.
Each toolbox comes with pattern blocks, base to blocks, write and wipe number line, write and wipe 120 chart, 2-10 frames, and 20 double-sided counters that will provide them with hands-on tools to help them understand math concepts such as place value and basic addition and subtraction. We will also use the math toolbox to review key concepts in a small or large group and when students need practice on their independent math skills to build their understanding and fluency.
