Math-Time Flies When You're Having Fun

Help me give my students games and activities like Zingo, Addition Dominoes, Candy Land, Mancala and Uno to practice their kindergarten math skills.

My Project

My students love to learn through play. In Kindergarten, playing together is a crucial way for students to learn and practice valuable skills.

The games and activities I am requesting will be used to invite my little learners to practice their kindergarten math skills through play.

Classic games like Candy Land, Mancala, Trouble and Uno can help students practice their counting skills, number sequence and numeral identification. The additional games in this project will allow students to practice addition, subtraction and measurement (weight) skills. I've also asked for a couple of types of zipper pouches to organize these games in a space-saving way.

I plan to offer the math games as a fast finisher activity during our math block each day, rainy day indoor recess option and for use during our end-of-day S.T.E.A.M. centers. I know the K3 kids will be excited to have these new choices at their fingertips. Thank you for your consideration.
