Help me give my students a bead stair tray, number cards, addition strip board and a stamp game.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Kargol's classroom raised $244

My Students
Our school is in a large metropolis with many of the same challenges facing other cities this size. As teachers, we're sensitive to the fact that many of our students struggle to get their basic needs met. All students at our school receive free breakfast and lunch. Each year our school has more students who are homeless. Most of our students come to school carrying the heavy load of some kind of significant trauma.
Our class is a self-contained, special education behavior unit.
We have great kids! We just need a little extra help. Our classroom is a safe environment designed to help us focus and learn.
My Project
I am requesting hands-on materials for my students. The stamp game is for students to move from 3D beads to actual numbers. This will help students to understand number quantities.
The addition strip board is to introduce adding to students as they use the units.
Being able to manipulate the materials will give students the opportunity to see addition clearly.
The teen bead stair tray is used to examine the actual bead count in order up to ten. Students can manipulate the beads and see the sequence increase in number.
The wooden number cards will be used to make large numbers up to the thousands place as students progress in their learning.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
