My Project

This project has been a success in the past years and I would love to continue it. One of my all-time favorite books is Fish! by Stephen C. Lundin. The book focuses on play and making someone's day, among other things. A quote from the book says, "Making someone's day means going out of your way to creating memories that make a difference." This fish philosophy can be applied easily to education and learning.

I want to spark a passion for learning, and I can do this by incorporating play into our lessons.

This project will help my students review math skills that they have already learned, but also have a blast doing so. When it's Super Bowl time, the classroom will transform into a football field. During the game, students will sit on the yard lines, and for each answer they get correct, they move. The kids will be so excited to dress up in football gear to answer math questions. Winners will receive a Super Bowl trophy.
