Help me give my students items like book bins, composition notebooks, and an electricity activity lab for math manipulatives, hands-on science activities, writing materials, and organizational materials for a successful fifth grade year!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are curious, talkative, and enthusiastic learners. They come to the classroom with tons of background knowledge and need assistance in exploring that knowledge. This project will help them engage in their knowledge in interactive ways.
Donating to this project will help in increasing student engagement in lessons and help them achieve their academic goals.
The math manipulatives will assist them in learning concepts such as comparing fractions and decimals and the math games will be used for supplemental resources. They will be a fun way for students to learn and enrich their learning.
In fifth grade, students are expected to learn much more science content. The STEM materials will be used for students to practice their engineering skills and activate their critical thinking abilities. My students will be using the notebooks to separate and organize their math and science notes. The books bins will be a great place for them to store their notes in order to have an organized school year.
