This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As COVID guidelines have eased, we are now able to work in cooperative groups again. Socializing while practicing math skills will help my students close the learning gap. As a first year teacher, I find myself struggling to find engaging activities. But, these ready to use, low prep engaging math activities will be fun for students and will keep them on task.
My students are eager to learn and are extremely happy to be back in the classroom.
My students are very smart and capable learners. I am very proud to be their teacher. They encounter language barriers but they are resilient and never give up trying to learn new things.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
