My Project

I believe that children are able to learn and understand a concept much better if they are able to hold that concept in their hands and manipulate the concept. This is why I am asking for fraction manipulatives for my classroom.

Fractions is one of the most difficult concepts for fourth graders to understand.

Manipulatives can help them to understand equivalent fractions and adding fractions. They are able to see that some fractions are the same, even if the numerator and denominator are different.

Help me to make learning fractions fun, easier to understand, and easier to retain that information for my students.
