My students are four years old and all have significant learning delays but this does not stop them from learning, exploring, and creating! They need hands-on materials to help them grow, develop, and to learn about the world around them.
Math, science, and technology materials are huge motivators for my students.
They love getting their hands on materials to create and explore with. They express learning concepts and their creativity through these materials and will be able to demonstrate their understanding.
Building blocks will allow them to explore and figure out how things work. The Duplo Emotion blocks will allow them to express their emotions and feelings while building and creating. My students love painting and playing with play dough to express learning concepts and to help calm down when needed. Math manipulatives and materials will help my students learn concepts and express their understanding!
