This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year will be my first year teaching middle school math and I am excited for this new journey. This project supports learning materials for my 5th/6th graders for the upcoming school year.

In a world driven by numbers, I want my students to be excited about math and grow to be confident math scholars.

The materials in this project will allow me to help students with diverse learning needs and present math concepts in an engaging and accessible way. The resources will provide students with the tools to engage in mathematical discourse and problem solving. I am looking forward to utilizing these materials in whole class instruction and small groups for the upcoming school year.
