Math Scholars Need Supplies

My Project

The following supplies listed will help my students learn to count money as well as tell time. They will also use art supplies such as markers to allow students to draw and compare various problems. The individual clocks will allow me to make formative assessments of how my students are learning to tell time to the minute.

Students will benefit from the math manipulatives since their learning outcome is to learn to tell time, count money, and increase their number sense.

Students need colored paper for a visual representation of their learning. Shut the Box game helps them increase their number sense and mental math. The black markers are for when they make their own story problems.

My students are special because they have a love for learning. They are at a Title I school and don't have all the supplies they need to have concrete examples. The materials listed will allow students to make connections between concrete and abstract ideas in math.
