This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students will reinforce their math skills using this easel for reviewing multiple math standards on a daily basis.
Our California public school is a high poverty school with a large Latino population.
We are in a wonderful community with supportive families and caring teachers. At our school, we strive and work hard to teach our students life skills that will carry into their academic success.
My Project
This easel will be used for a daily math warm-up which displays multiple math problems in number sense, geometry, time, measurement, place value, graphs, and word problems. It will also be used for small groups in rotating math centers in which the students will demonstrate their understanding of the math standard taught for the day.
