Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are energetic, creative, thoughtful and love to learn! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They work through difficulties and struggles and come to school each day ready to learn new things, try their best, and take chances in order to grow both socially and academically. Truly, they are amazing and I am inspired every day by them!

We are a room filled with unique children who love to learn and need to learn with many different methods, environment and resources in order to succeed.

We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, small groups, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! They are truly an inspirational group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have them in my life!

My Project

All of my students have different areas of need and work best when using hands-on materials to help with instruction. Our class is in desperate need of math manipulatives to help kinesthetic, hands-on, and visual learners meet their fullest potentials. The products that I have selected are specific to the standards based for 6th graders, as well as needed for learning common math problems that can benefit any age level.

With the help of these math tools, my students will be able to learn effectively, and have fun while doing so!

All of these materials will benefit my students greatly.
