My Project
In the third grade, we have to do a lot of new math skills that require the use of scrap paper. We also do a lot of reading and writing as well. As much as they love the use of computers it can be a little hard for them to stay focused and complete the work. My students do amazing jobs when they can physically write out their thoughts. This is where regular paper and pencil come into play. Paper and erasers allow students to not only increase their writing skills but will help increase their math abilities as well because they can work the problems out on paper.
