My Students
I teach at a small school in San Francisco. I am lucky to work with 2 mixed age classrooms this school year, focusing on supporting their math identities.
Students in my mixed age class love to learn from one another!
My Project
This is a collection of books to tie into our math curriculum. I'm hoping to do more read alouds in the math block of the day. Each time students hear math vocabulary, they have another opportunity to integrate it into their daily language.
Students get so much out of listening to stories each day!
They have done a lot of building up their understanding of math concepts since returning from distance learning. I hope that these books would help build up their math identity and give a grounding point for their math explorations.
