My Project

My students are hardworking, curious mathematicians who love to tackle new challenges every day. They come to class eager to learn, discuss, and work through complex problems, but often lack the most basic tool they need — a simple pencil.

This project will provide my students with a supply of quality pencils so they can focus on solving problems without interruption.

Whether they're working through multi-step equations, graphing linear functions, or explaining their thinking in words and numbers, pencils are an essential part of their learning process. Having reliable tools means students can revise mistakes, take academic risks, and confidently show their math reasoning — skills that are critical for success in and beyond the classroom.

In math, perseverance and practice are everything. Every erased mistake and reworked problem represents growth. Access to a steady supply of pencils will remove a small but real barrier to their success. Your support will help build not just mathematicians — but resilient problem-solvers ready to take on the world!
