My Project

My students love when I introduce them to the variety of math games I have. They love to play them and get pretty competitive, which I love to see! One thing I like to do is be able to send home math practice packs with my students that include these games. They then have the chance to play with family members. Students get to be the expert and teach these math games to others, all while practicing their math skills. Not only are they working on math skills, they are also learning and utilizing social-emotional skills. Students learn how to play fairly and be good sports when it comes to winning and losing. I am requesting dry-erase markers, laminating pouches, playing cards, and zip-top bags to create these take-home math games.
