This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teacher a self contained 12:1+1 special education class at a high need, title 1 school. I teacher grades 4,5,6,7, and 8th grade. They often come to school without having breakfast. Being able to get a quick snack anytime during the school day makes their learning time maximized. They can concentrate on learning and not worry about being hungry. They can come for a snack and not being embarrassed about not having money to buy one. It makes eager to come to school and specially to make in on time to my class knowing they can get a fully belly
