Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I would like to take a moment to express my gratitude for your continuous support in our educational journey.
Our students have been demonstrating remarkable hard work and have embraced the idea of taking learning risks.
To help them succeed further, we are kindly asking for some supplies. In math, we often remind our students that "Mistakes Allow Thinking to Happen." This philosophy encourages them to practice skills, even when they feel uncomfortable.
Essential tools, such as pencils and erasers, are vital for their learning process. As we learn from the errors we make in class, we are committed to moving forward and improving with each experience.
Additionally, our students have been actively engaging in small group instructions, facilitating their own discussions and explorations. They have expressed a need for more thin expo markers in various colors to enhance their group work and display their ideas and progress on whiteboards.
We would also greatly appreciate materials like paper, paper clips, and other supplies to help organize our class and provide visuals for lessons. I plan to utilize the laminator for student tools, such as checklists and graphic organizers, ensuring they last throughout the year.
