My Students
I am teaching a group of bright, energetic students . They are excited to transition into middle school and are budding scientists.
Most of my students are visual and kinesthetic learners; having lab materials will make the lessons more engaging for them.
My Project
I am looking to make math accessible to my students with some math manipualtives. With your donation, students will be able to learn multiplication, division, fraction, and money.
Manipulatives are very important in teaching math because math Manipulatives help make abstract ideas concrete.
Manipulatives give students ways to construct physical models of abstract mathematical ideas.
Math Manipulatives build students' confidence by giving them a way to test and confirm their reasoning. If students have physical evidence of how their thinking works, their understanding is more robust.
