My Students
I have a classroom of twenty-two fifth-grade students who love to learn. They are eager to explore learning using new tools.
Our small, southern Indiana school is a school-wide Title I facility in which funds are limited.
About 71% of our students receive free or reduced-price breakfast, lunch, and book fees.
My students love to learn new things, and get excited about checking their own work. They enjoy learning in many different ways, and they are always ready for the next new learning challenge I present to them.
My Project
I would like to give my students VersaTiles to help them build math and literacy proficiency in a challenging yet rewarding way. These tiles use a self-checking answer system that allows me to work with several students at a time. The students will be in a fun and safe learning environment that increases their confidence. Once a student completes a page, they will check to see if their tiles match the answer key. They will truly enjoy seeing if their picture matches the answer key's picture. What a fun and exciting way to learn!
