This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My class loves math but we are in need of math manipulatives to help our lessons stay engaging.
I am asking for different sets of counters to help us add and subtract.
I am asking for different colored counters to help us visualize addition and subtraction. I am also asking for magnetic tens frames that we can use in small group work. I am also asking for magnetic tens frames boards for each child for whole class lessons. I am also asking for connecting unifex cubes as another way to differentiate lessons.
I know that the different types of manipulatives will help all of the learners in my class.
