This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My kindergarten students are so creative and enjoy hands on learning especially when learning new math and objectives, by having giving them a variety of math manipulatives they can learn and use their creativity simultaneously. The different types of manipulatives selected will help with having visuals the can hold to do addition, subtraction, make patterns, which are all fundamental math skills in kindergarten. My students will be able to correlate learning math with having fun by using the different animals, insects, dinosaurs and Legos. This will not only help them learn and they will also want to continue to learn.
