Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am embarking on my third year of teaching and this year I want to make it the best yet. I will be teaching a new group of wonderful fourth graders that I am sure will be excited to begin their fourth-grade journey with me.
These past two years I have learned that it is extremely important to provide students with hands-on activities.
Making math interactive will help them learn and have fun at the same time. The materials(dry erase boards, fraction tiles, etc.) that I have selected for my class will make a big difference during our math block.
In the past two years, I have seen students struggle to make sense of some of the concepts that I've had to create some manipulatives with paper. This year, I would love to enhance their learning experience with new and exciting supplies. Please help me give them that experience.
