Help me give my students family math manipulative kits from Hand 2 Mind to provide hands on experience during virtual learning!

My students make me proud every day. Seeing them persevering, problem-solving, and most importantly cheering on their classmates brings a smile to my face each day. Many of my students face struggles and challenges in their daily lives, but I see their dedication and the joy they find in learning is truly inspiring.
We work together to create a learning community where everyone is safe and feels valued.
During their time in my class, I work to show my students the rewards hard work brings, as well as to show them that our unique differences are to be celebrated and respected.
I teach in a Title I school with all of my students receiving free or reduced-price lunch. While our families want their children to be successful and there is great community support for the schools, I know that many students will not come to school prepared with the necessary supplies. I do my best to ensure that all students have what they need academically, physically, and emotionally during the time they are in my care.
Students need opportunities to engage in hands-on activities in order to gain a strong understanding of new concepts. Young children still rely on concrete thinking, so using manipulatives helps abstract math concepts make sense on their level.
In the classroom students are used to gathering up the manipulatives that make the most sense to them, but they lack access to these supplies at home during distance learning.
Unfortunately we do not have enough of each manipulative currently in the classroom to send them home with each student. This project will allow each student to have their own brand-new pack of manipulatives to help with all math concepts covered. Once we return to the classroom students and families will be able to keep these at home to extend the classroom learning with games!
