My Students
My Kindergarten class consists of 23 amazing students. My students are learning to read, write, and count. They love to learn through play and enjoy making connections to their peers both in the classroom and outside on the playground. Center time is especially fun because they have the opportunity to learn new things through play.
Curious, enthusiastic, and creative; my students deserve to be immersed in authentic learning experiences that challenge them on their level.
My class has a wide range of learning styles and the needs of many will be met with these new center materials.
My Project
Early elementary learners like my students need to develop a strong number sense. All of the materials I have selected will help the children in my class thrive as life long math learners. Visual aids such as math manipulatives will help all styles of learners to be successful. The children in my class will benefit immensely with my ability to differentiate to the specific needs of my students.
This project will allow my students to develop a strong foundation for necessary mathematical skills.
The materials I have selected for my project will help provide a colorful and engaging learning experience. Colorful and hands-on counters, peg boards, tracing, magnetic numbers and visual models that will guide all styles of learners!
