My Project

Where have these math manipulative "tool boxes" been my whole teaching career? These are literally the best thing since sliced bread. We do math on a daily basis and our math book provides the students with paper math manipulatives that have to be cut out such as: paper shapes, paper 100 charts and paper 10 frames. These are difficult and time consuming to cut out and then have to be stored in plastic bags. Needless to say they do not last the whole year.

These are made of plastic and have everything my students need for math such as: shapes, 10 frames, a number line, a 120 number chart, etc. Everything is made of a sturdy plastic and is stored in a small "tool box" which can be kept in their desk. Hallelujah!

These tool kits are going to be used every day to practice number sense and geometry as well as addition and subtraction. They will be used whole group, small group and individually. I am so excited to have the chance to get these for my students and better yet, my students will be so excited to have these to use. They are literally a math game changer!
