My students need attribute blocks, 3-D shapes, pattern blocks, and a timer.

My Students
I am lucky enough to have an outstanding group of second graders this year! They love to learn! However, we do not always have the supplies needed to do so.
My school is located in Phoenix, Arizona.
My second grade class loves to learn! They are curious about everything. They take pride in our school, our classroom, and themselves. For example, when our class was learning about the solar system, they went to the library and checked out every book about space. They didn't want to just learn about the planets. They wanted to know about the universe, other solar systems, stars, meteors, and asteroids. They went out at night and looked for Venus and the big dipper. I love encouraging them to go above and beyond.
My students are also learning how to treat each other with respect. They work together without bickering or bullying. They walk quietly through the halls to show that they respect other classes and they are always respectful to other teachers and students. There is a sense of community that makes me proud. They are often chosen by other teachers as the most helpful student of the week or month. I am so proud of this class.
My Project
The supplies I have requested will help the children with math, specifically Geometry. The students will be using the 3-D shapes to help with identifying, classifying, labeling faces, edges, and vertices. I would like to have enough of these shapes so that the students can share a shape with a partner, instead of what we have now which is one shape per class.
Unfortunately, I do not currently have any attribute blocks or pattern blocks. The blocks would also help with identifying and classifying also.
As I said above, I would love for the students to have the blocks and shapes to work with in Geometry.
Seeing a shape it much better than trying to imagine what it looks like or worse, having me try to draw it on the board.
