My Project
Math is a subject that will always be a part of our daily lives. In order for students to make sense of the everyday math around them, it is helpful to have materials that enhance their ability to see it and explore it in different ways.
Math makes many minds multiply their understanding of not only the subject but their world around them!
Colorful nestable bucket balance, plastic storage bins with lids, magnetic arithmetic learning toys, dominoes, stopwatches, place value disks, jumbo pencils, and double-sided x-y axis dry erase mats are some of the items that would make a difference in my students' learning. Dominoes can be used for math fluency by adding, subtracting and more. Stopwatches, a measuring tape, and the bucket balances are helpful with math projects that involve learning about graphing data. (Hands-on learning!) There will be many ways to explore math using these items.
We truly appreciate all the past Donors Choose donations and supplies received. It has made a huge difference in our ability to explore math in exciting ways.
