My Project
My goal is to create an active, engaging environment where students can use manipulatives, work together, and build confidence in their math skills through movement and collaboration.
In my math intervention class, students don’t just sit and get—they get up, get involved, and get hands-on with their learning!
Right now, our classroom floor is hard, which makes it uncomfortable and uninviting for students to sit and work on the floor. A classroom rug would provide a clean, comfortable space where students can gather for small-group instruction, participate in math games, and explore hands-on activities. It would transform our learning space into a welcoming area that supports creativity, cooperation, and deep thinking in math.
This rug isn’t just about comfort—it’s about creating a space where students feel safe to take risks, try new strategies, and discover the joy of math together.
