Math Made Marvelous!

My students need math dice to play challenging math operations, Party Math to explore geometry, Neighborhood Jobs Math will teach them mixed operations and problem solving, and Baseball Math will be used to practice statistics and data.

This project is fully funded

I teach 23 awesome 3rd graders in a Title 1 school. We have more than 50% of our kids at the poverty level. This means that they don't have the same resources that other students have.

My students love math but hate worksheets! They complete their math worksheets and workbook pages provided by our Math curriculum - but they aren't very excited about Math. I want my students to be challenged with real life problems that allow them to use their math skills to solve.

Math games will help my students get excited about math. I am requesting four math games that will help my students practice their math skills. Baseball Math will teach my students statistics and data analysis while playing a real life game about baseball. Neighborhood Jobs will ensure that they solve real world problems that could come up in their neighborhoods. Party Math will encourage them to use their geometry skills to solve problems. The math dice tub includes dice in numbers higher than 1-6, dice with pictures of 2 dimensional and 3 dimensional shapes, coins and place value. The math dice tub will provide us with a variety of activities!
