This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
"Fractions, word problems, place value... oh my!" Math can sometimes be a difficult subject in which to excel. But not in my class! My students could have loads of fun while mastering difficult Math concepts if they only had interactive games and activities to enjoy.
Our school is located in the inner-city in an area that is made up of hard-working low-income families.
My students are fun and energetic children who are eager to learn and love coming to school everyday. They love to play games and learn at the same time.
My Project
Math can be loads of fun! Students learn concepts better when they are actively engaged and enjoy the lesson they are participating in. These Math games would help students learn in a small group setting in a format that is interactive and enjoyable. They will, without a doubt, increase their Math knowledge and problem solving skills.
My students will grow up to be confident problem solvers and be able to use Math concepts and skills throughout their education.
A strong Math foundation NOW will impact the rest of their lives. If they excel in Math, they will love it, and grow up to be engineers, mathematicians, doctors... and more!
