I love the hard-working thinkers I share a classroom with! They wow me with their efforts and ideas & motivate me to be a better person and teacher for them.
LEGOS make math Fun!
With LEGOS in hand, children approach math with a different mindset and attitude. These fun, colorful, plastic pieces bring a level of excitement that other manipulatives just don't. Lesson engagement is higher and math becomes a subject students really enjoy. They positively connect to lessons and become true mathematicians. Math becomes "real" when we use LEGOS.
My students will be able to enjoy these LEGOS at a station in my classroom as well. They can build and create with their friends, while also developing and strengthening social skills. Now more than ever, our children need opportunities to learn how to share graciously, how to work toward a common goal, and how to politely agree and disagree with others.
I truly believe that these Legos are more than an investment in my classroom ~ they're an investment in the life of each child.
