Math Journals for the Next Albert Einstein!

Help me give my students a better experience with things that they might not be able to afford such as notebooks, a pencil sharpener and Easel pads.

My Project

I teach fifth grade at an urban charter school in Michigan. My students are awesome and want to learn but are limited in the supplies like notebooks and pencils.

I will use the pencils for everyday use because students seem to go through them with all the writing we do in Math class.

I will use the notebooks for our Math Journals for the next few units of math. The students do a lot of note-taking during my lessons.

These supplies will help me teach more efficiently and help provide the best way for my students to write and use the information given to them through my lessons.
