This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These math games will help reinforce the basic math skills which my intervention students need to gain confidence in building their strategic thinking and problem solving skills which they learn during the week. Every Friday we play math games on the rugs, but since they are swept, there are leaves and trash which does not make it too appeasing or welcoming to play on. The requested vacuum will allow for a safe, clean, and welcoming area for game play.

My math intervention students have made great progress throughout this school year.

I would love to have new math resources for them to continue their love in sharing their newly learned math skills and realizing how much math they actually use in their daily lives.
