Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
At the end of the school year, I want my students to have learned all the concepts I have taught them in an enjoyable manner through a hand-on approach. The biggest challenge I face in my science class is not having the adequate material to have them learn by experimenting themselves.
My students are fifth grade inner city children in the state of Illinois who primarily reside in low income households.
They are phenomenal students who just need that extra push with the correct resources. My students are fascinated with what the world of technology has brought us!
My Project
The resource I need is an LCD digital projector. This project will benefit my students because they will be engaged in their learning through the use of technology. Students will interact with one another and with the teacher in class. They will be able to visually see what the teacher is discussing through the use of the LCD projector.
Your help will ensure that my students get the best possible education they can receive in a low poverty community.
You will make it possible for my students to learn the material being taught through the use of technology and not simply the use of textbooks inside the classroom
Nearly all students from low‑income households
