Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The math materials in this project will allow students to experience math in all our classroom centers. The Liquid Measurement Kit will be help students learn to measure in our sand and water tables. The Pattern Block Cards and blocks will be placed in our puzzle center. Students will be able to create fun pictures and learn names of many shapes.
"The only way to learn mathematics is to do mathematics." These math activities will be used in various centers in our PreK classroom.
The Scoop Count Ice Cream Shop will allow students practice counting while pretending to serve ice cream to their friends. The Shape Sorting Center will be a fun activity for our students in our math center. Students will learn to sort real life objects by their shapes.
My PreK students will love these fun and educational math activities in their classroom centers.
