My Project
Hello! Thank you for taking a look at my project to help advance my Kindergarteners on their math journey! After my first year of teaching, I learned quickly that there can never be enough math activities to keep the learning moving. My students are natural engineers and they love learning with their hands! With the coming school year, I plan to incorporate more math and reading centers to advance learning through play. In New Orleans, we have a lot of indoor recess days, and these activities will come in handy! Using math manipulative games such as sorting tubes and ten frames, will allow my students more practice through play! I plan to use small group time through out the year to use the items as learning centers. The students will have a timer set as they circulate through the fun learning games and work together to build their minds!
