This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year I am switching from ELA to Math. We need several manipulatives and math accessories for our classroom. I love that all of my LLD students have such varied needs and abilities. By using manipulatives, it will create a classroom environment more tailored to their needs and encourage them to feel that math is fun!

Based on their individual IEP's, the multi-sensory approach to learning math will benefit each student.

I love using a hands on approach as well as math projects and games to enhance their learning in a safe environment.

I have seen my students grow tremendously over the years using manipulatives and games to learn, and I know that I will be able to engage them successfully, enhanced with your help and support.
