On a daily basis, I remind my 2nd and 3rd graders that Math is FUN! I try to incorporate hands on as much as I can, but I am limited to supplies. We are a small rural charter school with limited resources. Math would be so much more fun with working calculators and fraction manipulatives to learn with. Containers to store things in my closet would help to keep them in good shape for many years. I always star their work with a "smelly star" but I am down to 3 usable smelly markers. New ones would be appreciated.
