My Project
To support diverse learning, I will provide alternative learning opportunities to cater to different learning styles, particularly for kinesthetic and visual learners. I would like to make math concepts more tangible and interactive while improving understanding, which I can do with laminated learning resources and hands-on materials.
I will use hands-on materials such as the PEMDice and Algebra Tiles to aid in the comprehension of abstract mathematical concepts, allowing my students to visualize and manipulate the ideas they learned.
I want to bridge gaps and help struggling students in a traditional way of teaching. My students are under an alternative program, and they are special to me, such that I want them to increase their interest and knowledge in algebra with the use of diverse instructional materials.
