Students in my class comes from all walks of like. Exploring Math sometimes can make them very anxious. Creating a safe space where learning can be achieved while allowing the opportunity to recharge has been a positive impact.
I have noticed class rooms with an area where the scholar can take a break have seen progress in the students mental health.
I hope to create an area with the bean bags and supplies where the student can take a break from the formal while still accomplishing the tasks of the day. This area will encourage conversation around the class topic and freedom to dig deeper.
