Math in Motion: Engaging Puzzles and Weather Wonders!
Help me give my students number puzzles to practice counting, and sequencing. A season and weather sorting manipulative to connect math with science and daily observations and hands-on learning materials that support independent and small-group exploration.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are eager learners who thrive on hands-on activities that bring abstract math concepts to life. They light up when lessons include movement, puzzles, and real-world connections. To support their learning, I’m requesting number puzzles, seasonal sorting games, and weather manipulatives that will make math interactive and fun.
These resources will help students explore number relationships, build problem-solving skills, and understand how math connects to their everyday environment.
Number puzzles will develop fluency and confidence with counting, sequencing, and basic operations. Seasonal sorting and weather-themed manipulatives will provide engaging ways to categorize, compare, and analyze data — all key early math skills.
With your support, math will become more than numbers on a page. It will be a world they can touch, sort, and puzzle through with excitement!
